Teo Marinakis is a director and cinematographer based in New York. He grew up in Santiago, Chile with Brazilian and Argentinian parents, and earned his BFA in Film & Television from NYU Tisch in 2020.

His work has been featured at various festivals including Rhode Island International Film Festival, Indy Shorts, Vimeo Staff Picks, and Hip Hop Film Festival. He has directed and lensed short films, music videos, and commercials with clients such as ZEISS, Gabriela Hearst, and Chloé.

Teo draws inspiration from his multicultural background to tell human, social, and political stories across borders and genres—capturing these themes through a subversive and cerebral cinematic language.
